00 -About

I build brands by working inside them.

Operator first. Designer second. Strategist when the room needs one.

01 -Story

From Monster to the machine.

A decade inside Monster Energy. In-house team, global rollouts, 16 unique brands, 46 languages, 100+ countries. The job was building the operating system for a brand that had to be locally relevant and globally unmistakable at the same time.

Then COO and CMO at FaZe Clan in the run-up to the public listing. The brief was to build the brand infrastructure - operating manuals, review rituals, talent-on-brand training - that let the org professionalise without losing the thing that made it FaZe in the first place.

Now independent. A small slate of brands per year - DTC launches, holdco identity work, rebrands, the occasional founder who needs a deck rewritten before a Series A close. I take the work I can do with conviction and pass on the rest.

The work you see on this site came from doing it - not studying it.
02 -Operating principles

How I actually work.

Five rules I've earned the hard way. They show up in every engagement.

I don't do marketing, then culture. I've never treated them as separate things. At Monster I didn't market energy drinks - I built a world people wanted to be inside. At FaZe it wasn't content, it was belonging. Sacred Sauce won awards not because of the product but because it meant something. Every engagement I've run has this fingerprint: I find the emotional core of what a brand could stand for, and I make that the engine - not the execution. Most people bolt culture onto a business plan after the fact. I start there.

The rule: If the culture isn't designed, it's accidental. Accidental culture is expensive.

The decisions that cost me - the ones I've had to rebuild from - are the ones where I had to be convinced they were good. The ones that built something were obvious before the argument finished. I process through dialogue, I think out loud, but the decision isn't in the dialogue. It's in the gut response before the conversation starts. I've earned this the hard way: overriding the gut to accommodate someone's logic or avoid friction, and watching the outcome prove the gut right anyway.

The rule: If I have to convince myself, the answer is already no.

I don't just read rooms - I shift them. People activate differently in my presence; conversations become more possible; permission expands. I've deployed this instinctively my whole career. The discipline is deliberate deployment: knowing when to turn it up (the pitch, the team reset, the creative brief), when to pull back (the negotiation, the hard conversation where charm becomes a tell), and when to let someone else hold the room so I can observe it. The moment I use warmth to smooth over friction I should be walking into - that's when this principle gets violated.

The rule: My presence is a lever. I know when I'm pulling it and when I'm hiding behind it.

I generate the idea, see the pattern, fire the initiative, and get the room moving before most people have finished reading the brief. That's the asset. The liability is the 70% problem: the spark moves to the next spark, and the current thing - the one that was actually working - sits at nearly-done indefinitely. I've learned this one the hard way more than once. The principle underneath it is simple: not everything I start deserves to be finished, and the ones that do deserve my full follow-through. Choosing which is which before I begin - that's the discipline.

The rule: Initiation is free. Completion is where the value lives. Be deliberate about which ones earn it.

This is not ambition. It's something more visceral. I don't just want things to be better - things that are average cause me a specific kind of discomfort that most people don't feel. Sacred Sauce had to win awards. The brand strategy has to be genuinely different. The content has to land. I see what something could be before anyone else does - and the gap between what exists and what's possible is not abstract for me, it's uncomfortable. That discomfort is my edge. It's why I keep getting hired into rooms where a brand needs to be more alive. The pattern to manage: perfectionism disguised as standards, and the pull toward a new project when the current one stops feeling like its best self.

The rule: The discomfort is information. It tells me where to go next. Don't let it become an excuse to leave.

03 -Core values

Savage by design.

Broad words like resilience and courage never gave me a real push. SAVAGE is the framework that does: real strength and capability, grounded in respect, purpose, and the drive to lift others.
